Our Story
In college, Cherry was called Grandma because whenever her friends came to her place, they always knew they could get a home-cooked meal and a great dessert. It started with her famous cherry cheesecake, which had to be accompanied by a meal. Then, she would do the work. She started selling her cheesecakes in the Florida State Senate, where she worked as a Legislative Aide. Before the week ended, she was getting calls from the Capital and the House. Every night that she went home, she had to bake. Cherry would bake all night so that she would have fresh cheesecakes for the new day. One day, Cherry thought to herself that she needed a name for her business, so she called it Cherry's Cheesecakes....
